I drove this off the lot from Santa Monica BMW in May 2005. I have all the original documents including window sticker. 2 OEM key fobs and valet key w/ key code.
Clean title in hand/no accidents/non-smoker
124k miles (90% freeway) this was/is my commuter from SD to LA several times a month.
Silver Grey Metallic on grey leather w/ cube aluminum trim.

Very Good Condition-
Exterior: A few small dings and a mark in the rear bumper from a license plate frame. Small abrasion near drivers side rear wheel well that could use some touch up paint. Lower front fairing rash. Some minor wheel scuffs. Small chips in front from freeway driving. Some small chips in windshield (repaired). Paint waxed and clayed frequently.
Interior: very clean- No kids/pets/etc. some wear on drivers seat from entering/exiting. Rear seats nearly unused. Some normal use scratches on ashtray lid and wear on shift knob. Dash, door panels, glovebox, etc. scratch free. Some piling on Alcantra steering wheel.
This car is not perfect but it has been well taken care of and is a great ZHP. If you’re looking for a clean, driven ZHP this is it. I’m very picky and don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Dealer serviced through 100k and then at Euro Auto Spot (http://www.euroautospot.com/) in San Diego.
I have EVERY service record/receipt and will provide all knowledge about the car.
Items that have been serviced/replaced:
-BMW-All regular scheduled maintenance. No warranty repairs.
-Steering bushings x2 (Stokes Performance Tires, Euro Auto Spot-SD).
-Driver side front window regulator (BMW OEM part)
-Passenger side front window regulator (BMW OEM part)
-Replaced passenger side fog light (BMW OEM part) cracked lens.
-Brand new tires: Michelin Pilot Super Sports (w/ damage protection)
-New rear brakes (Euro Auto Spot-SD)
-Expansion tank-preventative (Euro Auto Spot-SD)
-Rear brake light recall fix at BMW Vista
-New OEM floor mats as the originals just now started to pull away from the Velcro.
This car is 99% stock. No race add-ons or custom hack jobs. Not that I would even think to say this but after reading through the E46 forum: Absolutely no track or racing, strictly a nice way to get to work and back. Unmolested.
The only non-OEM items are:
Window tint: Professionally installed (Automotive Entertainment-Santa Monica)
Stereo upgrade: Professionally installed (Automotive Entertainment-Santa Monica) Custom subwoofer box (rear seat pass-through) and 2 Kenwood amps (Kenwood KAC-9152d 900 watt w/ bass control) and (Kenwood KAC-8452 400 watt), Blitzsafe XM satellite radio adapter (Audiovox XM box included but no subscription as I transferred it to another car-just needs activation) and USA Spec ipod adapter. All hooked up to the Harmon Kardon OEM head unit.
Extras included: BMW roof rack, BMW OEM car cover. BMW Sun Shield.
This car needs NOTHING but if you think it’s important there are 2 things I would consider doing after buying:
1.Detailing the engine compartment. I left this as is so you can see the true condition and did not shine it up for a sale.
2.The hood silencer has some sag and would be replaced if I was to keep it.
I want this car to go to a good home. Selling because we’re having our first baby.
